Monologue Submission for New Participants
For artists who have not previously worked with Lil Malinich, we ask for a short monologue video as part of the application.
This is not a cut-based audition. The submission helps Lil get a sense of you as an actor so the right play can be chosen for the group.
The play will be selected after applications are received, with the goal of highlighting everyone’s strengths and giving each actor meaningful stage time.
What to submit
A short monologue video:
You may use:
A monologue you already know
One of the provided selections
Previously filmed monologue or acting work, if you already have material
At the start of your video, please state your name, the piece you’re performing, and where it’s from.
You’ll find a field in the application form to paste your video link.
If you’ve previously worked with Lil, no submission is required.
This process is designed to be simple and accessible — perfection is not expected.
