A high-energy Broadway Jazz dance class for kids and teens in NYC, inspired by choreography from hit musicals and movie favorites.
This open-level program welcomes dancers of all experience levels — whether your child is stepping into their first dance class or ready to refine their technique, they’ll be guided with patience, positivity, and joy.
Under the direction of a Broadway Rise choreographer, dancers develop strong jazz fundamentals, musicality, coordination, and stage presence while gaining fitness, confidence, and creativity.
Each semester concludes with a live showcase performance in our Upper West Side theater.
Every dancer performs fully rehearsed Broadway-style routines on stage, celebrating growth, teamwork, and the pure fun of performing for a cheering audience.

Trial classes are strictly limited and available only to new students of each program. You’re welcome to book one or multiple trial classes — whether your child wants to try just one or explore several, we’ll help you find the perfect fit!
Please note: Trial classes are not available for workshops or masterclasses.

Students should wear comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement. Skirts and dresses are welcome as long as they’re worn with leggings or shorts underneath.
Footwear should be safe and appropriate for movement—think sneakers, dance shoes, or sandals with secure straps. No flip-flops, crocs, or slip-ons, please.

We follow strict safety protocols including background checks for all staff, comprehensive teacher and first-aid training, and adherence to child protection policies.
Our pick-up / drop-off procedure is safe and secure. The details of this will be communicated upon enrollment.

We understand that absences happen though we encourage our students to attend class as much as possible to avoid missing out on new content, choreography, etc.
Make-up classes can sometimes be arranged, subject to availability and prior notice.

Early registration is strongly encouraged, as classes often fill quickly and late spots are not guaranteed.
If space allows, tuition may be pro-rated for late registration with approval from Broadway Rise staff.
For production-based classes, we recommend enrolling at the start of the session so your child can fully participate in audition preparation and early rehearsals.
Starting on time helps each performer feel confident, prepared, and ready to shine on stage!
