Broadway Dance: Ballet, Tap, Jazz is a dynamic, high-energy class for kids and teens in NYC that brings together the three core dance styles of musical theater—all in one supportive, skill-building environment.
If your child dreams of being on Broadway, strong dance technique is essential. This program is designed especially for singer-actors of all ages who want to feel more confident and capable in movement—whether they’re stepping into dance for the first time or building on existing skills. Even late beginners will find a welcoming space to grow, improve, and succeed.
In each class, your child will train in:
Ballet – Builds posture, balance, and core technique that supports all styles of dance
Tap – Develops rhythm, timing, and musical precision
Jazz – Brings energy and expression to life through Broadway-style choreography and performance
Guided by a Broadway Rise choreographer, your child will strengthen musicality, coordination, and stage presence while building confidence, creativity, and physical strength. The session culminates in a final performance, where your child can shine onstage and celebrate their progress.
End-of-Semester Showcase
Each semester concludes with a live showcase performance in our Upper West Side theater.
Every dancer performs fully rehearsed Broadway-style routines on stage, celebrating growth, teamwork, and the pure fun of performing for a cheering audience.

New to Broadway Rise? Come experience the magic during our Trial Weeks—the perfect way to see if our classes are the right fit for your child.
Fall 2026 Trial Weeks:
📅 September 22 – October 6Trial classes are strictly limited and available only to new students of each program. Your child is welcome to try one class or explore a few—we’re here to help you find the right fit.
Please note: Trial classes are not available for workshops or masterclasses. Broadway Rising and Musical Production classes are also excluded. If your child is interested in a musical production experience, we recommend starting with one of our show-themed audition workshops.
✨ Bonus: If you decide to enroll after your trial, the full cost of your trial will be credited toward your tuition.

Students should wear comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement. Skirts and dresses are welcome as long as they’re worn with leggings or shorts underneath.
Footwear should be safe and appropriate for movement—think sneakers, dance shoes, or sandals with secure straps. No flip-flops, crocs, or slip-ons, please.
Broadway Dance, Musical Theater & Musical Production students will need a pair of black jazz shoes - for more information on these, check out our handy guide to Jazz Shoes HERE

We follow strict safety protocols including background checks for all staff, comprehensive teacher and first-aid training, and adherence to child protection policies.
Our pick-up / drop-off procedure is safe and secure. The details of this will be communicated upon enrollment.

We understand that absences happen though we encourage our students to attend class as much as possible to avoid missing out on new content, choreography, etc.
Make-up classes can sometimes be arranged, subject to availability and prior notice.

Early registration is strongly encouraged, as classes often fill quickly and late spots are not guaranteed.
Pro-rated tuition is available for new students only, and only if space allows, with approval from Broadway Rise staff.
For production-based classes, we strongly recommend enrolling at the start of the session so your child can fully participate in audition preparation and early rehearsals.
Starting on time helps each performer feel confident, prepared, and ready to shine on stage!
