Our Acting: Play Production program is a small-group training experience that helps young performers grow as confident, expressive actors. Perfect for kids and teens who love theater, storytelling, and teamwork, this class offers professional-level acting instruction in a fun, supportive environment on Manhattan’s Upper West Side.
Students explore scene work, improvisation, character development, and ensemble performance — all while preparing for a fully staged play.
Led by an experienced Broadway Rise teaching artist, this acting class for kids and teens provides personalized feedback, focused coaching, and real performance opportunities. With only 10 students per group, every actor receives the individual attention they deserve to develop skill, stage presence, and confidence.
Whether your child dreams of Broadway or simply loves performing, this program gives them the tools, structure, and encouragement to grow as an artist and as a person.
End-of-Semester Performance
Each semester concludes with a fully staged one-act play, performed live for family and friends in a professional performance space. Every actor has a featured role and experiences the thrill of live theater — lights, costumes, applause, and all! It’s a joyful celebration of growth, confidence, and creativity.
